Intimidate
Reference legal teams and use complex jargon designed to make you feel totally out of your depth.
Threaten
Subtly (and occasionally overtly) threaten counter-actions, costs, or account closures if you persist.
Back Down
When none of it works, when you've kept records and refused to quit, they fold. This is where you win.
